The Garden Courier is a monthly zine for folks who love gardening. Each month, we will focus on a plant and talk about what it's used for, how to grow it, how to save the seeds or propagate it, etc. It's everything you wish was on a seed packet, in a cute, collectible little zine. Each issue comes with an empty seed packet if that plant allows for seed saving, and if not it will have an extra page for pressing leaves or flowers or other plant activities.
Additionally, every 3 months there will be a special issue of the zine where we talk about a garden concept, bird, or insect. These special issues will cover topics such as companion planting, guilds, pollinator plants, native plants, etc. and the bird and insect issues will talk about a specific bird, insect, or groups of birds/insects that have an impact on the garden and our ecosystem.
The zine measures approx. 4.25"x5.5"
What is a zine? A zine is short for magazine. It was originally invented as a DIY, mini magazine to share with friends and has since evolved into all sorts of different applications. Some folks still make them in the original DIY, xerox fashion, and some folks use fine paper and high quality printing. Regardless of method, zine's are fun to look through and collect.
Mail Club is sent in an envelope with a stamp. It is not trackable and delivery times vary depending on destination and USPS.
The deadline for sign ups each month are the 15th. For example... Sign up by August 15th to receive August's issue. Sign ups after the 15th will receive the next month's issue.
