About Red DuMonde
Red is originally from a small town in South Carolina. She grew up in a little house on a lake, and spent much of her childhood playing in the woods, learning as much as she could about animals, and eventually worked for a vet and trained horses through her teen years. In college, her focus shifted to painting and photographing the human figure and was on track for life as a painter. But after university, life took some twists and turns. Many of Red's plans for art after University didn't work out. It was a dark time. But Red didn't give up. To shake things up, she moved to Hawaii to be a volunteer, and then moved to NYC to find art opportunities. Even these big moves did not work out, but Red refused to give up her dream of making a living from her artwork. Upon moving home, she reconnected with some friends and fell into a tattoo career. Finally, she was making a living from her art. After 7 years of tattooing, Red found that she missed traditional art mediums and that leads us to the present. Today, you can find Red tattooing part time in Asheville, NC, and painting in her home studio in South Carolina's Dark Corner. Through all of life's twists and turns, Red's love for plants and animals has remained a driving force in her art, and to this day her work is largely inspired by all manner of flora and fauna. For fun, she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, rainy/foggy weather, reading, drinking coffee, baking, and gardening.

Shipping Policies and Order Processing
Order Processing:
-Orders are sent out as quickly as possible, usually within 3-10 business days. As some artwork is “made to order” this will depend on the volume of “made to order” items, as well as other orders at that time. Estimated shipping times are in addition to order processing time. Please factor this in when considering time sensitive orders.
Options:
-All original artwork will be insured to the full purchase price of the artwork
-A variety of shipping options are available at checkout
Lost/stolen:
-Red DuMonde is not liable for any lost or stolen packages. If you believe your package has been lost or stolen, please contact the shipping service chosen at check out to file a claim.
-Please note that I do not have any more information than you do once your package has left the shop and is in transit. I want your order to arrive safe and sound as much as you do, however once it has left on its journey to you it is out of my hands.
-Please note that shipping services are experiencing unprecedented shipping times and package volumes. Please be kind and patient as you wait for your order.
International Orders:
-Buyers are responsible for all duties and taxes issued to them by their country. This is an additional cost for you to expect when the package reaches your country. Orders that are rejected by the buyer upon delivery will not be refunded.
-Please note that international shipping times can be unpredictable. If there is an issue with your international order, please contact the shipping service chosen at checkout.
Incorrect Shipping Information:
-Red DuMonde is not liable for any artwork lost in transit due to incorrect shipping information. It is the responsibility of the buyer to give correct information at checkout. If artwork is lost in transit due to incorrect shipping information, please contact the shipping service selected at checkout to resolve the issue.
Returns and Exchanges
Originals:
All original art sales are final. This includes any item with the word “original” in the description. Cancellations, exchanges, and refunds are not available for these items.
Damages:
If an artwork arrives damaged, the buyer must send photos of the damaged artwork as well as photos of damages to the exterior and interior of the packaging that the artwork arrived in. Please email me at shopreddumonde@gmail.com
Cancellations:
Orders can only be canceled if the artwork has not yet been made, as some artworks are “made to order.” For artworks that are pre-stocked, cancellations may only be made if the artwork has not yet been shipped. Because of this, I cannot guarantee a cancellation may be made.
Issue with an order:
Though I take great care with each order, things happen! If there is an issue with your order, please contact me at shopreddumonde@gmail.com and I will work with you to find a solution.
Returns and Exchanges:
-Please note that while I photograph and document my work as accurately as possible, I cannot account for minor irregularities in representation. Please take care to ensure colors and sizes will work well in your space before purchasing.
-Returns are accepted for pre-stocked, non-original artwork within 7 days of the buyer receiving the artwork.
-Buyer must return artwork in the packaging it arrived in. Artwork that is damaged in transit back to the shop due to improper or insufficient packaging is not eligible for a refund or exchange.
-Please note that all returning costs (shipping fees, duties, etc.) are the buyers responsibility.
-Original artwork, “made to order” items, “seconds,” or any sale items are final sale and not eligible for returns
