This print is the cover art for a seed packet called "Flower Mix - Bee Feed" by Sow True Seed Company in Asheville, NC.

This was a very special project. I submitted my work back in February and was honored to be chosen to make some artwork for a seed packet. They sent me the seed variety to illustrate, gave me full creative freedom, and my first thought was a bee eating a sandwich. This thought surprised me. Illustrating an action scene is not my usual forte. But the only ideas that came into my head were just that, action shots of bee's eating a snack. So I went with a picnic bee, and I'm so happy with the result.

Print Details: Prints are made in house, on a Giclée Fine Art Printer, using archival watercolor paper.

Size options are based on standard framing sizes, so framing is easy! However please note that cropping may occur for some size ratios. Red does her best to crop all prints in the most aesthetically pleasing way for the artwork.

If you would like a larger size than what is listed, please contact me here for a custom order.

Each print is made to order, then cut and packaged by hand. Please allow 3-10 business days for order processing in addition to shipping time. For more information see "Order Processing" at the bottom of the home page.

If you receive a tracking number, but when you click on it there is no tracking info, that means Red has packaged your order, but has not brought it to the post office just yet.

Colors and details are photographed as clearly and accurately as possible. However, due to the fickle nature of technology, some colors and details may vary depending on the device you are using to view the artwork.

What does Archival and Giclée mean? Archival and Giclée are both words that mean the highest quality paper and the highest quality pigments. These prints are often mistaken for originals and if displayed with care, can last up to 100 years. (This is what the manufacturer has told me.)
